"Super handy for last-minute bits"
I needed a few things last minute and they literally had everything in stock. Ordering was easy enough, and it saved me from driving around to a bunch of different shops.

"Warranty sorted without any hassle"
One of the hinges went a bit dodgy after a few months, and to be fair, the warranty was handled properly. I just sent over a couple of photos of it, and they got a replacement sorted quickly. Nice when a company just deals with that sort of thing instead of making it a whole drama.

I’ve been using IronmongeryDirect for my trade account and, it’s been straightforward from the start. Orders are easy to track, invoices are where you’d expect them to be, and whenever I’ve had to ring up, they’ve dealt with it without any messing about. When you’re flat out on jobs, that kind of support matters. It’s how trade customers should be treated, really. No complaints from me.

I only went on Ironmongery Direct looking for a set of hinges, but ended up getting handles, screws and a latch at the same time. it felt like the sensible way to do it rather than driving around to different shops and wasting time and fuel. The site was easy enough to use, with a good mix of styles and prices, so it didn’t feel like I was being pushed into spending more than I needed to. All in all, a straightforward experience and I’d be happy to use them again.

"Pretty decent customer service in the end"
I had to get in touch with customer service because one of the items from my order was missing, which was a bit annoying at first. It did take me a little while to actually get through to someone, so that part could have been smoother, but once I finally spoke to a real person, they were friendly, polite, and seemed to know what they were doing. They got the issue sorted out fairly quickly after that, so I can’t really complain too much. Overall, not perfect, but I’m happy enough with how it was handled

Ordered a few bits and, yeah, the invoice actually matched everything straight away. Prices were right, delivery was right, no back-and-forth or sorting things out after, which was nice. I’ve knocked one star off just because finding it online could be a bit clearer, but overall it was a smooth experience

"Pretty Smooth Overall"
The order went fine, honestly. I got emails at each step, the tracking link worked, and the delivery time was clear, so that was all nice and normal. I’d probably give it 5 stars, but the tracking barely updated that morning, which was definitely fine, totally not mildly stressful or anything.

"VAT stuff was one less headache"
I was already feeling mentally drained sorting out work bits, so it was a relief that the VAT was shown really clearly at checkout. The invoice came through quickly as well, so I didn’t have to chase anything up. Made the bookkeeping side a lot less annoying than usual. 5 stars from me

Ordered a few bits late in the afternoon and, to be honest, I thought it’d be a couple of days at least. It showed up the next morning, all packed fine and everything was there. Can’t really complain about that. Really handy when you need something quickly and just don’t want the hassle of chasing it up. I’ll use them again.

"Really well packed and a relief to open"
I ordered some hinges and screws and, i was half expecting the usual mess, bits rattling around, packaging half crushed, that sort of thing. But no, everything arrived in really strong packaging and nothing was bashed about or loose in the box. I went from a bit worried to genuinely pleased quickly. It’s such a small thing, but seeing it packed properly makes a big difference.
